Recount // Athletics day!

for the past 3 weeks, we have been writing recounts,
these are mainly some of the points we have been focusing on:

  • time connectives
  • Descriptive Language (similes, metaphors, sets of 3, etc.)
  • Advanced Punctuation (semi-colons, colons, brackets, hyphens, etc.) 
I have written about athletics day and what were the events that happened, this is my recount I wrote about athletics and re-wrote it on a site called piktochart:

    Hey Piper! I am a student at Waikowhai Primary School. I love how you said in the text: Although I didn't throw as far as I did on practise days I was still happy with what I got! That's really great! This reminds me of when we did athletes when we did shot put I couldn't go that far but I was happy for the person who won! Maybe next time you could add a photo of you running our doing an activity.
